DID YOU KNOW...

MeWe - The Alabama Forest Owners' Association has had a presence on MeWe.com since April 2020. We duplicate our social media posts on MeWe. It is an alternative to the social media platform Facebook. MeWe has been working well for us during this time and is very similar to the look and feel of Facebook. If you are looking for more information privacy, freedom of speech, and no censorship of posts, then give MeWe a try.

Gab - AFOA is now publishing all NEWS page posts to Gab.

AFOA has a MeWe Group just for hunting. Don't miss the notifications for hunting tracts being added/removed from the Hunting Land For Lease webpage as well as other hunting related news and information. The AFOA Hunting group is at https://mewe.com/join/afoahunting

AFOA also has a Facebook Group just for hunters. Don't miss the notifications for hunting tracts being added/removed from the Hunting Land For Lease webpage as well as other hunting related news and information. The AFOA Hunting group is at www.facebook.com/groups/AFOAHunting

FACEBOOK: You can see our most recent AFOA Facebook page posts above in the AFOA Facebook page box. These include: each new News page item, each new calendar item, recently posted forestland for sale, pictures from AFOA events, and more. You can also go directly to the AFOA Facebook page by clicking here. You do not need a Facebook account to view the AFOA Facebook page.

VIDEOS: Check out AFOA's Online Video Meetings page. We now have a page listing meetings/presentations that we have video of available online. Visit this link to see what meetings/presentations are available. We hope to increase the number of meetings available for online viewing over time.

What’s In Your Woods?

Open space? It makes for a great place for many things: camping, stargazing, and shooting skeet are a few that quickly come to mind. Hunters may use it for a variety of reasons. Do you maintain any open space(s) in your woods? If so, why?
