PROFILE
Anna Haigler
Johnson's journey into forestry and wildlife
management is deeply rooted in her family's
legacy of land stewardship. Growing up
surrounded by land surveyors and engineers, with
her grandfather serving as the chief engineer of
the conservation department, her love for the
outdoors and land management was instilled from
a young age.
After spending her childhood exploring the woods
of Autauga County with her grandfather, uncles,
and father, she chose to pursue a degree for a
career that would keep her connected to nature
She attended Auburn University, where she
received dual degrees in Forestry and Wildlife
Science, a combination that equips her to
provide comprehensive land management services.
Her expertise includes handling timber sales,
timber marking, management plans, prescribed
burning, chemical applications, reforestation
processes, mapping, timber appraisals, and
wildlife management. “My approach is holistic,
integrating both forestry and wildlife science
to meet the diverse objectives of landowners,”
she said.
Johnson believes that the proper management of
both timber and wildlife is essential for
achieving long-term goals and ensuring the
sustainability of land for future generations.
She tailors her ser-vices to each client's
unique needs, whether their primary focus is
timber production, wildlife conservation, or a
combination of both. By understanding and
aligning with their long-term goals, she helps
landowners optimize their land for activities
ranging from quail hunting to deer and turkey
management, ensuring their vision is realized
while promoting ecological health and balance.
