Upon graduation, Hudson went on to Auburn University to pursue a degree in forestry. During all of his breaks from school, he worked for TIME Limited Forestry, Inc., where he continued to learn more about the industry. "I feel that working for Ted Vignola, the owner at that time, put me ahead. I was learning real-world situations. He taught me a lot."

After graduation, Hudson moved back to Elba and purchased the company when Vignola retired. With Hudson at the helm, TIME Limited Forestry continues to be a full-service consulting forestry firm that works for clients as far out as 100 miles from Elba. The company specializes in everything from timber sales and inventory to appraisals, herbicide applications, site preparation, and reforestation. "I love getting to work with landowners," Hudson says. "No two days are the same. Every landowner is different, so they all have differing goals. It’s rewarding to help them meet those goals."
