PROFILE:
Charles
Hall has been a forester for years. He
graduated with a forestry degree from
Mississippi State University and went on
to spend 25-plus years working for both
the Mississippi Forestry Commission and
the Alabama Forestry Commission. He used
some of that experience and background
to also pursue another interest: law. “I
have always been interested in law,”
Hall said. “Consulting really goes hand
in hand with the law.”
A
registered forester, Hall also became a
practicing attorney in 2002, focusing
heavily on forestry issues for
landowners. After retiring from the
Alabama Forestry Commission, he went
into law full time. Based in Dadeville,
Hall often helps his clients with
forestry-related issues, such as
property line disputes, trespassing,
deeds, and wills. Hall feels it’s
incredibly important for landowners to
seek out professional advice, and it’s
something he feels he can do well
because of his experience as a forester.
“I can
hopefully help them avoid legal
sinkholes and explain why they should do
something one way versus another,” Hall
said. “From a legal standpoint, I can
answer those types of questions better
because of my background in forestry.”
