Lehman
Bass has spent more than 45 years in the
forestry industry, building Green South Land &
Timber into a full-service timber management
company that helps private landowners with
everything from acquiring and managing land to
reforestation and timber sales. Though he has
recently sold the company to an employee, Bass
remains actively involved, providing guidance
and expertise as needed.
Under his leadership, Green South
Land & Timber has expanded into real
estate, offering clients a seamless
experience when buying or selling
timberland. "We want to be able to offer
everything the landowner could need,"
Bass said. "We make a point to offer it
all." While the company has served
clients across the Southeast, its
primary focus remains within a 60-mile
radius of Opelika, where Bass has built
strong relationships with landowners.
An avid outdoorsman, Bass has always
sought ways to blend his love of hunting
and fishing with his profession. Now,
he’s also making time for travel, with
trips across the U.S. and Europe, as
well as enjoying his newly built home
with a fishing lake in the backyard. But
no matter where he goes, East Alabama
will always be home.
