For details on recommended actions to take if you have a Southern Pine Beetle infestation on your land, call your local Alabama Forestry Commission office or contact Entomologist Jim Hyland at (334)353-3424 or cjhyland@earthlink.net. Local Commission offices have maps of all known beetle spots. Check the maps to see if any spots are on or near your land.
